Bali Rescue Dog Squad started out as one woman doing what she could to rescue abandoned, neglected & abused dogs in Bali. She also organized & orchestrated animal welfare initiatives single handedly by offering services of sterilization, vaccination & education programs for both owned & stray cats & dogs. It's her vision & mission to change the mindset individually, one day at a time, one human at a time. Today, Bali Rescue Dog Squad is a registered foundation & has one special needs sanctuary & four separate safe houses, inclusive of a special needs sanctuary & a senior dog safe house. Alison's vision & mission remains the same & she hopes to gather more dog loving subscribers to help her foundation implement much needed change to animal welfare in Bali. I am Irish living in Indonesia. We are a husband and wife team who rescue abandoned and sick animals, mostly young kittens. We have been doing this since 2017. I want to share the experiences of rescuing the most vulnerable animals, nursing them back to health and trying to find their forever homes. We get little to no help within Indonesia, especially in terms of donations. We are completely reliant on donors from outside Indonesia who care about animals and who try to support our work. Currently we are caring for over 80 rescued kittens and cats - most of whom are awaiting adoption. We try to vaccinate and neuter as many as we can according to the availability of funds. We do not only help cats! We have helped dogs, chickens, bats, quail, ducks, etc. Since January 2024 we have rescued 178 kittens and cats. With your help, we can save even more of these animals! Our long term hope is to open a properly purposed shelter.
