Hi there, my name is Tom, and I'm a composer from Amsterdam, NL. Composer in Dutch is "componist," therefore... Tomponist! I'm a 30-year-old writing music for films, games, and animation. I started this channel to give an insight into how things are going along the way and how I try to develop myself and my music to encourage those on a similar path. Or to give a peek behind the curtain to whoever is interested. I make videos about composition, orchestration, the creative process, and the ups and downs of working as a media composer.

I'm an orchestral conductor, arranger, and producer of concerts and recordings that bring together artists from across the arts spectrum. On my channel, you'll find performances inspired by Genshin Impact, collaborations with pop, jazz, and classical artists, and behind-the-scenes films that take you to the heart of the preparation and performance process. I'll also have conversations with these artists, discussing the music, the venues, and the incredible musicians I'm fortunate to work with!

Zai, a music producer of epic orchestral covers, utilizes music to express his feelings and support for other musicians. By the time he was 12 years old, he had discovered the guitar and had started playing it, which made him realize that music was both his passion and his hobby. He listened to orchestral, pop, and electronic music more before learning how to play the guitar. He also started working as a substitute student-teacher in music for Three Days. By the time the pandemic occurred, he had begun to study more about Orchestrals and had begun creating one on his phone from scratch. In 2011 Steve Pycroft and David Tagg-Oram wanted to bring orchestras to new audiences; people who had never listened to orchestras before, playing music that had never been played in an orchestral way before.
